I have a Kodak Easyshare DX7440, your standard point-and-shoot variety, and I love it for what it is. (That is, my next camera will have a greater zoom.) When I first got it, I was having problems with blurry pictures and couldn't figure out why. Then I realized there was nothing wrong with the camera, but my hand was moving slightly when I snapped the picture. I've made a conscious effort to keep my hands steady now and haven't had a problem since. If that doesn't work, try using a tripod, or brace the camera somehow to steady it. I hope this helps.
