I planted it early last spring and the slugs went to work on it right away. I slowed down their progress by putting out beer bottles but by mid-summer they had almost killed it. I was desperate to stop them, so I started asking everyone I knew if they had any Idea how to get rid of slugs. That's when a friend of mine turned me onto Sluggo, an all-natural slugicide. I got a can and emptied it into all of my beds. Two days later, there was not a slug to be found. The Tickseed gradually came back and now I have my first bloom IN NOVEMBER! |
