The back of our property is marsh. There is a causeway that I drive over each evening just before I get home and this is the view. I didn't realize until we moved out into the country how important dead trees were to the birds. The egrets and anhingas roost together most evenings and there are great blue herons strolling around the base of the trees in the water. It's always a treat at the end of the day.
