kwan, it wasn't me who had the foot surgery ...it was my poor mother-in-law. If sympathetic pains count, I sure had them for her! She's very tough but the pain was enough to have her tears even with all the meds. My feet, knock on wood, don't give me issues. I'm a bare-foot-when-possible type of gal and have only worn heels a handful of times for special occasions. I hate wearing shoes but since I have to, I go for comfort over fashion.

Betty, you be careful travelling that stretch of road....yes, I know it well and I swear the plowers take their sweet time getting to the sections of highway near you. As for going north......now why would I follow the heavier snow? lol ;)

marsue, I hope things go well with your MIL's test. Scopes are not fun but I do know that they make them as gentle as possible. They may use an esophageal spray with lidocaine to numb the area so she doesn't gag or feel much or better yet they may sedate. I'd prefer to be put out myself. Either way, let us know how she does and good vibes are being sent her way.
