I use a sifter too, but for Zinnia seeds it's a little harder. I don't want to break them open. The sifter worked really well for the Hollyhock (bc it was a tad bit bigger than the holes in the screen), and the fine seed like Nicotiana, and Agalinis..which went straight through.

Nicotiana is flowering tobacco and the leaves are host and nectar for Tobacco Hornworm aka Sphinx Moth.

Agalinis is False Foxglove.. It has a pretty little pink glove bloom and skimpy slender foliage, though it is a host for Buckeyes.

These 2 still have green pods which will be turning brown in the next week.
