I have spiders and other bugs, too. But rarely see them with a cat in their clutches. The wasps are ALL over my yard. I was surprised to find so many large cats. I guess with my bushes loaded down with blooms, there were too many places for the cats to hide. :-)

Here is what my 2 bushes look like currently. They total about 5' tall and 7' wide.
