I love daylight savings time, and staying out in the garden till 9 or 10pm! Especially because it signifies spring and the oncoming sumer growing season. Im finally at the stage of planting my first little tomato and pepper seedlings out. Very carefully, into my most sheltered spots. Its warm enough now, but theres such terrible winds blowing over this part of the country in spring, its often wiser to sow and plant a little later than season allows. At least we ALWAYS have enough rain here. Too much most would say! The lower North Island (where I live), especially the West coast, is know for having the worst weather in NZ.
How is the NE climate? Colder than here I guess.

NZ photos... Do you mean flowers and gardens or landscapes? Heres a picture of 90 mile beach (actually 90km long, not miles). Its up in the far north where my mother lives.
