LOL adelbert, are you trying to say the bird turned blue with cold? We will have matching colours then! I can see those Pelicans floating on a water spray, they have to get their fun somehow!

Dinu, great Hawk pic. I would have been happy with the Kite pic too, flying birds are not easy to get!

Indiana, I am pleased to see some not-so-good shots, it's actually quite good, just high up! It must have been a sight to see all those Hawks circling, perhaps they have a rotational system of leaving their food stock to breed ready to feed their young later in the season, or they could move from area to area in search of it and you have the goodies.

Does this mean I need to find a not-so-good pic? The first one I took last time we had sun, a Blue Tit was on the edge of the clipped leylandii. As I took the pic a Dove flew in, it flew out, got both!

Edited to say, OK they're not Hawks, good story anyway!
