While they do enjoy shade, to much shade will keep them from blooming and from growing properly. I usually keep mine under a large Live Oak or under a flowering Cherry where they get light early in morning and late in afternoon. As you can see by the detail in this pic, my Plumosas have absolutly no thorns. You may have a different variety of Asparagus Fern. |
