Also had an experience similiar to llilyfan. 2 Hotlips bulbs on the east side of the house bloomed and fried this summer. I dug them up to move them Saturday & discovered several little bubils attached to the stem! Could have knocked me over with a feather. Increases on orientals??? A first time for me!
