Before I got the Blue Tits, I went across the road where there is a gate into a paddock with horses, I could hear a khuk khuk sound, then this hawk came gliding over! I had one once outside my back door attacking a pidgeon. Not sure what this is, maybe a Kestrel.

Shortly after, I turned to go across the road and a Jay flew low over the road, landing in an Oak at the other side. I took a hasty shot of half a bird in the shadows (which didn't work!), then it flew off into my Horse Chestnut tree, I didn't see it again, sob.

This was the best pic of the Hawk, they glide fairly high up, maybe 30' and it had keeled so the sun shone under it's wings.
