wallaby1 wrote: Thanks Deb, the Robin here isn't usually that friendly, but is interested when I'm digging in the garden. I think the one that sat on my neighbour's knee would become very friendly IF it gets to hang around, they are territorial so I guess even the young have to find their own. I think I have said this before, your Thrashes look like our Thrushes! planthappiness, that must be a bind to have to work instead of having fun! If you know how to put your pics on your computer all you have to do to upload here is click the 'Browse' button at the bottom of your reply and select a pic from your picture folders, a click on a pic will put the link there. I'm loving all these pics of Woodpeckers too, debilu that owl is peeking out back at you! sybil, what are the little birds in your first pic (I recognise the squirrels!). I have some squirrels which sit on the blue tit nest box, one recently had a double nut case of something I don't recognise, it chewed them apart after going to the ground, took one to bury amongst the iris at the water side then ran back up the tree for a while before scooting off. I guess an occasional squirrel is allowed here! I like the devillish look of this one with the white eye effect. |
