This is my Grandmother's (from her mother) Easter Cactus in bloom this morning. The first time she was all budded up this summer and ready to bloom, a big wind knocked the whole pot off the table outside and broke her all to pieces and threw her out of the pot. I literally cried my eyes out. My heart hurt SO bad because it was the first time in 3 years that it was going to bloom and I was so proud of myself. I told hubby "I can't deal with this today, I'll take care of it tomorrow". I literally cried most of the day that day. The next day I got myself together and went out and picked her all up. There was a bunch of broken stems laying on the ground so I got another pot and put the stems in the pot. I decided that mother nature was telling me it was time to propagate her. So I'm very excited and feel very blessed that she is blooming for me right now :)
