2. What is your favorite overall plant and why? Rock Rose. It blooms profusely all summer long, doesn't have any problems with diseases, and it can take our weather.

3. What is your favorite tree and why? Any oak tree. They're so majestic and noble.

4. What is your favorite shrub and why? Turk's Cap. Those little red flowers are so cute! LOL Plus the hummers like them and it can stand up to our wacky weather.

5. What is your favorite perennial and why? Coreopsis. I love the color and they bloom all summer long. The little Four Nerve Daisy is also a favorite. It's the first to bloom in the spring and it continually blooms until the first frost.

6. What is your favorite annual and why? Cosmos, they freely re-seed and they're such happy flowers.

7. What is your favorite vine and why? I'm not a vine person...yet!

9. What is your favorite houseplant and why? Don't have real houseplants. The cats eat them. :o)

8. Do you garden organically? Yes!

9. How long have you been gardening? Since I was old enough to learn from my mom & dad, but mostly my mom.

10. How long have you owned your current home? 3 years

11. Do you compost? Yes

12. What is your favorite insect and why? Bees because they pollenate everything!

13. What is your favorite bird and why? I love to listen to the Mockingbirds and Mexican Doves in my trees.

14. What are some of your other interests? I love to read and I'm an avid cross-stitcher. I'm also very active in my church.

15. Do you have pets/livestock? What are they? I have 2 cats. Callie, a tortoiseshell and Hannah Grace, a tabby cat.

16. Do you live in the city, in a suburb, or in the country? I live in a city.

17. What is the biggest problem you've had with gardening? The webworms this year!! They were everywhere and on everything!

18. Where have you found the best/most information about gardening? Dave's has been a wonderful source of information.

19. Are you addicted to gardening? Yes
