I don't know how many you have signed up now, but if you have 10 packs of phlox seeds, you could look at all the lists, see who has phlox as their #1 choice, add that to their envelope, and cross off one of their choices. they could list as many choices as they send packets of seeds, plus some alternates (listed at the bottom as alternates). then if you still can't give them what they requested you can just add whatever you have. if you still have phlox seed after filling all the #1 priority requests, then look who has it as #2, etc. I think for this to work, everybody would have to give a pretty good idea of what they are sending as soon as possible. I know we can't nail it down as to varieties, colors, and how many packets, but it would be nice to have a good idea what there is to choose from. I know a lot of folks have already said what they are sending and will add a note as they collect their seeds. have I confused everybody?? sometimes I have a clear picture in my head but don't explain it very well. here's and example of a list (not my real list, but some of the choices I'm thinking about) jan |
