wind, your amaranth is really pretty. I tried to grow some love-lies-bleeding this year with no success, but I guess I just had too much going. I think I like the upright one better! and I would like some feverfew. there's always room for small, pretty flowers. they make a nice backdrop for the big, showy ones.

critter, I was hoping to be able to overwinter the Victoria salvia. but after reading and hearing your vote, I probably can't. But they start so easily from seed I wouldn't be without them. what a gorgeous color! if they were more strongly scented I would replace my lavender.

pamsue, I like all of your hollyhocks. in fact, I never met a holly hock I didn't like. this year I wintersowed yellow single, pink single and mixed double. I wound up with 2 plants of each single and only one double. what amazed me was that one of the yellows bloomed for the first season! so I will have seeds. I don't know yet what the others will look like, but I am loving this one. I like the doubles and ruffly ones.
