Starzz wrote: Good Morning all, Dropping in to say hi again. I have been looking after my grandaughters this week after school through till 10:00. We have been having fun baking cookies, banana bread, and driving to soccer, dance etc. Hayley's last soccer of the season was a game of parents against the kids..a short fun game...well I said I would try to play a bit...Whew..I felt it yesterday morning. Plus I got a ball kicked hard against my hand that sort of bent my finger a bit. It was fun though. Lots of laughs. When my kids were young I was always working till 7pm. so I missed a lot. Yesterday I made the first batch of apple sauce and juice from my apple trees. The trees are loaded with apples. I don't spray or prune them.. Wish you could all come and take some away. Murmur..your grandaughter is so sweet. Grandchildren are such fun..more time to really enjoy them now that I am not working. Betty..I hope you have a wonderful day. I would love to meet you some day..as you say maybe next spring. I don't have your artist's talent or your drive but it sure is fun to read about all your adventures. The wether here has been wonderfulfully warm and clear. I love Sept. days..but also know soon it will be time to put the garden to rest and bring in all the plants that I try to save over the winter under lights in the basement. Liz..such a shame that two of the ornaments were broken..but you will so enjoy the two that arrived safely. I smile when I think of all your Halloween decor. Americans seem to go all out for Halloween. I put up a few littel things but there aren't any young kids here in neighbourhood so I go to my daughter's on Halloween night. This is a phtoo of my pumpkin I did for a contest at work a couple of years ago. Cheers, Carol |
