I captured at few more Sandhill Crane silhouettes, yesterday, than my earlier post. They were much higher also. Is any on willing to try and count them? They were headed south over the Nanana River, shirting around the east side of Mt Mckinley, in the afternoon on Sept. 16, 2007. There was a light rain, and I could hear them long before I finally spotted them. Judging from the mountains they were flying over, they were above 5000 feet.
