I thought the unknown tan seeds I bought were purpureas! They turned out to be Surprise! I got one willow dianthus in the lot of 8 seeds. There were also the lighter colored round flowers you speak of and darker somewhat kikyo shaped with the whirlpool leves and petals in the middle in the batch. All the seeds I have harvested are small tan seeds. I have also used as much of the pollen on the willow dianthus flowers as I could find that was usable. I`m growing another batch resulting from the crosses directly with the willow dianthus. These are to be saved for next spring when the fun starts all over again. I hope to build a supply so I can share some of these and do some trades. I`m working on it!
