Happy... I don't use anything on the plants in the winter except on the Eppie called Ric Rac. It usually starts setting buds in February so I start feeding a fish/humus formula when it starts to set buds. I can give you that recipe too. To me, the beer formula seems to promote plant growth but does not seem to encourage blooming. I can use the beer formula and see growth within a week. I do use the banana peels year round on all the eppies/orchid cactus.
