The rest of the family stresses us out so they aren't invited. We have a beautiful cottage that we rent (off season isn't too bad $$) and we just do whatever we feel like doing. Since we are mother and daughter we can tell each other where to go if we push the other's buttons. DD#1 took me there last year cause I'd had a hard couple of years with my brother's death last summer and my father's the year before. Off season it's fairly quiet there and we read, sit on the beach, shop, eat and eat some more, sleep, kayak, walk, explore the island, and watch the beautiful sunsets.
