Rain when I transplanted my Kohlerias from the solid cups they came in I found little green and growing plants just like your showing way down in the bottom of a few of them. I took one and planted it on top of the dirt in it's own little cup and it croaked so I guess it needed to make it's own way to the top. LOL

I need to take some more pictures as I have a couple of them that have sent two or three new starts up. A few are setting buds too, finally! I'll try and get some decent pictures of them to compare with yours. I sure do find that the leaves don't stay nice, kinda dry and yucky around the edges, or bruised looking in general. Probably just me!

I topped all of mine to get them to fill out faster and only ended up seeing two blooms, the rest busted at the abuse. I tried and tried to get some decent pictures of the blooms but I don't think I ever did. Let me go look.....Well this is the best I did...Mother's Lipstick bloom..... and it was not close to what it really looked like because it had a beautiful yellow throat!

I do think that the bloom on Scarlett Ribbons is the prettiest episcia bloom I've seen, and she's getting ready to open another one! Although Pink Panther's bloom is very pretty too!
