If you drive around the country roads you can often find bits and pieces to use as feeders - either on the ground (if they are set up on rocks they will last longer) or hung up with pieces of chain. Your birds will love anything natural.

These will eventually rot away, but are "renewable" - just takes another pleasant drive in the country!
