The desert garden at Huntington LIbrary had gas heaters all over the place, several encircling the plumerias. They were beautiful though not lots of flowers. I just hope Barney gets one :-) Here's a photo from the Japanese garden (unfortunately, it was overcast). The Chinese garden is scheduled to be open in Spring of 2008. The construction fence had viewing cut-outs so we were able to take a peek and see that it is going to be beautiful! |
