It wasn't noticable until it got pretty big, they will blend in and hide well during the day, mostly eating at night. If they are in the garden they can hide a lot of places. I have several red pentas toward the back in the ground, and notice bites out of it too, but didn't spot any Tersas. It was the potted one on the deck that worked in getting this one. That's where I found it, no dirt or other plants to sleep in nearby. The cat was on the stem a noticably half eaten Penta plant, on the deck. Oh Sheila ! Those queens are so special, so glad you're getting them!! :-) |
