A friend sent me to The Mettowee Mill Nursery in Vermont. They have a fairy garden dedicated to the memory of a co-worker who died last year as a result of domestice violence. It is beautiful and gave me lots of ideas - houses, tiny furniture and garden tools, and Cicely Mary Baker's flower fairies. (You can buy a lot of those things there) The pics are new additions to my fairy garden. Eleanor

p.s. The fairy is this pic was a donation from my neighbor's grandchildren. One of the children is a girl about 8 years old with special needs - probably fetal alcohol syndrome (she and her sister were adopted) and has emotional issues. Very smart little girl but a little high strung to say the least. She usually comes to the garden without her siblings and looks for "baby toadies" and looks at the flowers and fairies, walks on the stepping stones and bridge. It seems to give her a sense of peace and contentment. It is especially for her (and of course for my pleasure) that I am adding more to the garden for her to find.
