I was up at 5 stuffing everything in bloom into a large vase to take to work Sunday a.m. Everyone loved it: bright red dahlias,purple dahlias, purple buddleia, white phlox, white and lav glads, white veronica spicata and bluish/lav of same, artemesia lactiflora ghizou, rudbeckia, velvet deep red snapdragons, purple monarda, a few nice daisies, some crocosmia sprays and leaves, coreopsis as a filler. NO PHOTO, sorry; but it was 'me' all over the place. I gave it to the highly stressed gal who has been working herself silly to get us all ready to convert to electronic communication only at work. She was most grateful: mission accomplished!

Terri "on the hoof" is slang for meat that still walking in animal form; in this case, flowers still on the plant.
