Jackie,

I just read your comments about Logee's and Kartuz. Both are a bit high but if you can't find it anywhere else, then buy it from them. They both have delivered nice plants in a very timely manner earlier this year for me. In the past it may have taken weeks but this last time was a week or less. I was very impressed.

How many begonias do you have that would take until September to pot up? Let's see, 5 a day for the month of August would be over 150. Sounds like you have your work cut out for you.

I've been potting up lots of little ones lately. So far I've done around 80. Now that I'm done with most of the rhizos and small canes, I will start on rexes in two weeks (be in AZ next week).

This year I'm using Nature's Helper only. Not only is it cheaper than a good potting mix, but it seems very porous and no mixing. It may come back to haunt me once it starts breaking down. I also have a huge tub (those plastic tall tubs with the rope handles) that I fill with water or fertilizer water and dunk the whole plant, pot and all for exceptionally dry pots.

I'm moving most (eventually will do all) plants to more sun. We only have 3 months (or less) to get the most growth out of houseplants before the great migration.

Richmondensis has such cheery (cherry) blossoms.
