Just a bit ago I heard the wingbeat of a hummer in the ulitity room. I got the dogs out,shut the door, removed the window screen and hung a feeder in the open window. I could not encourage the little bird out, and finally resorted to trying to catch it midflight.

It peeped loudy as I caught it, and then was completely still. Usually when caught, there's a bit of flutter, but not this time. Now I've got it in one hand while changing to the smaller camera lens w/ the other. Pix aren't very good, but I snapped four images, and then the little bird was gone from my hand! Yahoo!!!
