Morning, Carole. Hope you slept well last night? Meeks is the original snuggle bug and would be happy to cuddle with you as long as you'd let him. Don't know what I'd do without him, without any of them for that matter. They add so much to my day to day life. Looks like a lost day here, should have gotten out in the veggies yesterday......oh, well...time enough to pick before work tomorrow and then I think I'll stop at the grower's place after work and pick up some starts for fall.....as usual, I'm too lazy and far too impatient to start them from seed.

No hummers or butterflies to share my morning coffee and pretty quiet on Dave's so I think I'll run a fresh pot of coffee and curl up on the couch for awhile with "The Prizewinner of Defiance, Ohio".

Here is one reason I call Merry silly...you may be able to tell by the flying ears and hair that she just finished an ecstatic roll and backscratch, complete with silly little moans and groans of pleasure, in the clover pasture. She's forever stalking and pouncing on moths and butterflies. She is quick, but they are quicker....so far.
