It rained about 3 inches during the week there and although the puddles had evaporated I came across a bunch of Poodleheads puddling (Southern Dogfaces). A few checkered skippers flitting around them but never could get a photo of them landing in the mix...so here's the puddling poodleheads along with one Large Orange Sulphur on the west side that blends in so well. :o) ~ Cat ps...love that Zebra...they are always a garden favorite. Congrats on the Buckeye cat!!! I see those Longtailed Skippers each year - do hope they'll make use of the blue pea vine I planted this year for them. Gotta love that turquoise coloring!
