hello all, so much happens during my night time that i feel i have been away forever!
maybe america does everything double time or maybe we are just so lay back we are just darn slow! lol dunno....

did you see that chair?? thats talent.. there is so much talent on the thread dont you think?
did you all see the wedding cake that franklins wife made of hand towels and such? it looks amazing!

tangie, if i could be there i would... trust me.
how cool would it be to just pop in for a cuppa or call in and take betty to lunch, or say hi the all the gang... you know.. just passing thought i would drop in....

wish you werent all so far away....im not even on at the same time!! waaaaaaaaaaaa :0(

oh dont mind me, im feeling sorry for myself and I shouldnt.... sorry... I'll cheer up, promise.

Now i cant remember who wanted the instructions for making the bracelet but here goes... its quite basic really.

you take size 8 knitting needles
beading wire 28 guage ( its quite thin)
seed beads of your choice
10 x 10 of signature beads. now this means bigger perhaps patterned or what ever you like or have hanging around.
you unwind some wire from the spool and start threading the beads on. i large bead then 3 seed beads. colour, size design it up to you.
you do this until all the main beads are threaded onto the wire which will leave the spool still hanging on the end. this stops the beads falling off the end.
then you cast on 15 stitches. Now this is the tricky bit as you are working with wire and its doesnt have a lot of give but be patient. it looks aweful the first couple of rows but it gets better.
knit each row. make sure as you wrap around the wire when doing the knit stitch that you catch either a main bead or 3 seed beads so every stitch has something in it.
you continue this until its the length that suits your wrist.
oh, i forgot, you must purchase a clasp for it of your choice. you can see i got the fob style, allow for the catch in your length measurement.
once you have achieved the correct length you simply cast off!
cut the wire loose leaving about 2" and wrap this neatly around the edge like an overcast stitch (like your wrapping the edge)
gently pull into shape here and there as it is a little plyable. then take a length of wire and begin wrapping the edge again in an overcast stitch to make the edge strong. when you get to the end where the clasp is to go, wrap in the clasp as you go! do this at both ends. this is the tedious part so be patient.
then, voila!
if you want some more closeup shots let me know or have any questions... happy beading!
