I am still learning by experience too. I have had so many flops in my garden I care not to think about it. This year I have lost 3 of the Vista Bubblegum petunias and I have no clue why they died. They are one of the new Proven Winners and I have been on their website and two people at that company are still trying to figure out why the flowers just up and died . But I have these pink petunias growing in a planter and they are doing great.
