Actually, since my garden's mostly shady, I'd talked myself into believing that foliage alone was enough. And it's great, for sure -- I still love my foliage plants. But now with these lilies it seems every day is spring, waiting for some new rare beauty to start opening up, and I only have a few compared to you collectors.

By the way, the botanic garden had some beautiful groupings of White Henryi, and now I'm in love with him, and I have to have him.
