Females usually take more time to nectar and touchdown their feet on a lot of plants. so they can taste, (with her feet) if they are a larval host. So sorry Mellie... (How goofy of me to miss that?) I am very glad you said something. Yes, and I too talk to butterflies.... so we are all in good company, lol! Some of us are even butterfly whisperers...
