It can wait till fall to be dug...which up here is next month........
I thought about digging around it so the roots are severed....but leave it in till fall
forcing it to form new roots before the move
Does that work?

Is the root system small ?
like the width of the canopy?
or is it much larger than I imagine and
I should just give it the last rites as its dragged behind a chevy?
