Well good evening all, it's been quite a day..where will I start..oh yes, got the frame up and painted, have a border of green to add as the one I did just isn't wide enough, that will be another day of course...

So now, I'm out digging a 5' area about 4 feet deep for the 4"x4" 's and coming back to the house for materials I notice that the storm last night had broken the gazebo frame, wripped the roof cover in about 6 places and it's yuk..no good...so, I don't get toooo discouraged, there is always more where that came from, it's too nice of a day to panick...

So I decide that the burning pit with rock near the frame art won't do so take the rocks away, with soil I took from the hole I dug for the frame, I filled the burning pit..now I need grass seed and time for it to grow..2 corners now yukked up..lol....but that's ok. because I had already decided to look for metal burning stove to put out back to burn misc. so, all and all it will work out...

Now I have some supplies in my car, remember it's about 2 weeks old, sun is shinning and that metalic gold/orange looks pretty, ah, but what about all those potmarks in the hood and roof and side, guess it was that large hail last night that look like golf balls, guess they were pinging my car...so that will be a trip to the insurance company for sure...

So, I wanted to be at the funeral home for 2pm so it's now 11am and it's time for bath and dressing up when the telephone rings, it's old friends of Roger's who drop by at least 4 times a year when they are travelling through, always check to see how I'm doing..well they had called last week and I had invited them for lunch...of course with all that happened this week I had completely forgotten...so now they say they are on their way, about an hour away, so, out of the tub, dressing quickly, down to IGA for groceries i.e. salads, cold cuts, lasagna tray, strawberries for shortcake etc.

So now they arrived and it's getting late afternoon..I still have to go to car dealership to resign all my papers because of the bonus zero financing they got for me (because I'm a nice lady! lol) so I basically had to tell them I had to leave....got papers signed, went to insurance company and put in claim and then I had an hour before the funeral home opened...

I went over to visit Allan (remember almost sister Irene who passed away in May) and we had a great visit..he's doing ok..was so proud of his housekeeping, and then through the conversation he said he had rugs put in throughout the house, paid a lady to do all the cleaning in the cabinet and then hired someone to clean house and do floors etc. but all and all he was proud of himself..says he's lonely, but that's to be expected...

Now it's time for the 7pm viewing..people are line for almost 1/4 of a mile (no lie and no exaggeration)...as you entered the funeral hall there was a table with a beautiful photo of Jason, and then another shorter table with a frame and a stool with Jason's 'running shoes' and boy does the wording in the frame hit you and bring all the emotion to the surface..not sure of the exact/exact word but it says:

"Do not judge me tooo harshly, unless you've walked a day in my shoes!"
then I stood in the line up and it took 1/2 hr. to the casket..what a handsome young man..the place was filled with friends..can't imagine what this young man was thinking..he was sooooo loved, had hundreds/hundreds of friends, he was just that kind of boy, touched everyone's heart, WHY would he ever think there was no one to talk to or nothing to live for? mind boggling...my boys were there, such handsome men..you think they are on top of the world, but now I'll worry, because if it could happen to someone like Jason then it could happen to anyone....

Then I went to Home Depot, to purchase shrubs for the frame area and it was closed..the flower dept. only so I went to Walmart and was able to get a few things...but I will be up early in the a.m. and there when doors open so I can finish this project...

Then Arthur (friend of the boys who spend the weekend with his family a few weeks ago called from about 300 miles away to say that Canadian Tire chain has the tile saw for slate and ceramic tile on 1/2 price for $79.99 and thought I should rush in to purchase one before they are sold out..so cute...will do though, probably on my way to look for another gazebo...

Now it's bedtime and I'm tired out..so it will be an early night...Greg told me that he has the 'Foxy Lady' at home, rugs are in it now, and the man said the wrap around seat and lounger and two front seats will be ready for installation on Wednesday, BUT, Greg said he'd drop of all the teak wood for me to sand and oil...hmmm, I'm sure he thinks I've nothing on my schedule..lol want them back by Sunday...well there is only Sat. between Fri. night and Sunday - right? hmmmm another busy day...

Will talk in the morning and I'll respond to all your posts..

Thank you for the d-mails and the prayers..is appreciated!

Oh, I'll post a photo of the almost finished project..comments and suggestions appreciated..
