Degarotty wrote: HiHkitty30, With your discription of your plant, I would say that you need to look at how much you water it. Being a succulent, they hold their water in their leaves. These plants are tough but when watering if you do not water correctly the leaves start to shrivel, as you are describing. They only need a drink when the dirt is completely dry. You give them a big drink (to completely wet the dirt), then you do not water again until the dirt is dry. The shriveling of the leaves leads me to think they do not have enough water. Also check for spider mite by checking it out for cobwebs. If it has cobwebs then try to find the little bugger's and send them to heaven. lol. In the meantime, I would take off two nice plump leaves and pot them in cacti & succulent potting mix. That way if you save your plant, you will also be starting two new one's. I am not an expert, I do have this plant and I read allot on Cacti & Succulents. Keep me updated on how you are going. Give your plant a good big drink, then do not water again until the dirt is dry. Good Luck, it's a fab plant. This is a photo of my plant. Debi. |
