I put it in a half 55 gallon drum planter filled with WalMart top soil and pretty much left it alone for a year or so. The past couple of years I feed it with an occasional shot of Miracle-Gro and the blossoms have been quite prolific. The only major problem besides Joe and storms is the annual attack of rust.
