These guys are really cool! They are all around my place and range in size from 1" to 5" or 6". The males have irridescent blue markings on there bellies. In the fall, I catch all that I find and put them in a terrarium in the house for the winter. I do this because, in the winter, you find them dead from the cold due to the rapid temperature changes. Don't worry though, I release them all in the spring. A few weeks ago, I saw a female sitting in a hole she'd dug, laying eggs. Too bad I didn't have my camera.
