If you want petunias have you tried the Laura Bush petunia?? I lived in Texas last year and they did great, and last summer was very hot in Texas. They are fragrant, love the heat and reseed. I had a small garden center and use to sell them. They are hard to find as plants. The picture was taken in May and I have other pictures of them still blooming with Sedums in Sept.
