Those rhizomes are creepy looking! :0) I was planting outside yesterday and I saw something that looked just like that only with lots of legs and wiggling about!! He got shoveled way to the other side of the bed from where I was working!!! LOL

Rain..... that darker foliaged one immediately caught my eye too, here is the description from the Out of Africa page...

PEARCEA SP. EQUADOR---( very similar to kohleria ) Dark red hairy leaves and stem, yellow/orange/red hairy blooms.

When I placed my order I asked for the sellers choice but mentioned my love of yellow blooms and Gary went above and beyond in that at least half of these will also have some sort of yellow in the bloom. Wasn't that great of him??
