Last year I sacrificed a perfectly lovely gaura plant to an even more lovely sphinx moth caterpillar. He was too glorious to prevent my giving the plant completely over to him. Here is a photo of my little paintings I found. The clematis has big fuschia pink blooms so it would look very nice if it would bloom around them, but I fear there is not enough sun on this side for that to happen. They appear to be traveling around to the other side of the shed to bloom. Unfortunate since the rose on that side has a salmon bloom that looks dreadful with the bright pink. I must do something about it or the color police will show up at my door. I think the little elepant and bird-like creature are simply divine. |
