Carla, I forgot to respond to your question about the invasive Verbena - it's a tall variety (probably reaches 5 - 6 feet, the blooms are on rather long stems). In this picture it is the tall airy looking plant. And do you see the plants with the white flowers towards the bottom? Avoid it like the plague!!!!! It is a groundcover in the Lysimachia family (like Loosestrife). I'll try to find the actual name, but it is a nightmare . . . pretty when it blooms, but becomes a thick mat that spread in no time. I have to try to dig some of it up and throw it out!!!!!! Or maybe I could put in on that property in back of me . . . think it could take over even out there . . . overcome the thistle, nettles, horsetail, etc.??
