I can't imagine it would take up anymore 'space' than making 4-6 posts in a row on a thread. I have noticed that many threads are mostly chat, but, I have hundreds of photos from my cheap little digital camera. I like to show folks what I have seen, that will save them a trip to go see it for themselves. And I never cared if it was about the subject of the thread or about something completely unrelated. I just like photos.
