Then after a couple of days I noticed that Mama would get off and the Mr., would get so agitated he would scratch the eggs around way too much and before I could get to them he had scratch out one and broke it!
I decided I needed to separate her and her nest to a confinement cage! That was a disaster! She would get on the nest and she broke another! So I put them Back in the original nest! But put up a guard to prevent the eggs from being scratched out by Papa!
Last Week I noticed Mama chirping and not getting off the nest ! I was so happy I knew she was responding to tiny chirps in the eggs!
Then on last Friday I noticed she had left the nest and there were no Babies! I ran to the nest and found One crushed eggs , Apparently stepped on by either Mama or Papa! I was so sick to my Stomach! then I heard a tiny little peep! There it was , the tiny little fella still inside its crushed shell, all balled up and weak!
