You should have heard us calling and looking for her as a huge thunderstorm rolled in. Nothing. We looked all under the old coop and everywhere. Nothing. She hasn't been seen or heard from in 5 days. She is such a little thing that she actually could be carried off by a local hawk. ( Most of our gals are too big for that) so we really thought someone had gotten her.

Then this morning.......a miracle! She's home! She must be brooding on something, somewhere. She showed up in the enclosure, so she must be very well hidden somewhere in the pen. I guess she is under the old coop after all, but tucked up so well that we can't see her when she is setting. I have to tell you I was very emotional about it when I saw her, it is like she returned from the dead! I cried so hard! I'm teary just thinking about it :)

Here she is, that bad girl. She is, of course, totally unrepentant. :) Hurray! My wayward gal has come home.
