I have always enjoyed the old wood cuts and prints depicting Japanese Morning Glories. Some of them give me ideas of what would be interesting attempt to recreate again in living plants. I don't know if Nanaba is the correct name for the plant I have, even though that is what the seed was labeled as. It's bud the other evening gave me chills of anticipation. I don't think I have seen such intense color in a JMG...a deep, dark burgundy on a portion of the corolla showing... Arlan |
