I've lost 7 chickens since the first of April. I hadn't seen what was doing it, but had seen a
coon eating cat food. And a possum was hanging around awhile back but haven't seen it lately.
Thanks to one of my dogs waking me up this morning at 5:30, I was able to take out at least one chicken killer, it was a male coon.
I've always liked coons, even had them as pets, but they aren't going to have any more free meals in my chicken coop.
