I feel like I've lost an old friend. I did heavily prune it each year because it was really too big for its spot. I guess that was too stressful. Lesson learned. At the time of planting, it was felt it would be a good plant to cover the big blank garage wall. But then I got addicted to clematis and needed all the wall space I could find! Should I treat the soil for eggs or something before replanting ? I imagine this is some sort of borer. what is the life cycle? should I worry about my other viburnums around (about 4 or 5 others). |
